Mr. Fred Mills is the President of Praxis Medical Management and has more than 30-Years of experience as a health care executive, with proven leadership and results in various health care settings.  Prior to joining Praxis he was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to Baptist he was the President & Regional Senior Executive Officer of BJC Health System in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to BJC he held various positions with The Missouri Baptist Healthcare System in St. Louis, Missouri, including Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for three years and then President & Chief Executive Officer for the five years prior to the merger with BJC. Prior to Missouri Baptist he was Administrator & Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, Oklahoma for seven years. Earlier in his career he was a public accountant and served as a hospital controller.

Mr. Kevin Mills has nearly 19 years of health care experience, managing physician practices and overseeing billing operations.  Prior to joining Praxis he was the Practice Administrator for Neurocare Network, an eight physician neurosurgical practice.  Prior to Neurocare, he was an area manager with the BJC Medical Group responsible for 25 practices in the western region. Prior to BJC he was operations manager for the Missouri Baptist Medical Group, responsible for 7 urgent care centers and 2 multi-specialty physician practices.

Mr. Damon Mills has 17 years of health care experience including positions in a large hospital system, a large managed care organization an 80 physician primary care group and as a Manager in a national health care consulting group.  Prior to joining Praxis, he was a Manager in Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s Health Consulting Group, working in the areas of financial measurement and tracking, data collection and analysis and relationship building with client executives.  Prior to Ernst & Young, he served as the financial manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City’s HMO Medicaid managed care product and as the controller for its 80 physician primary care group practice.  Prior to that he was in the planning department of Health Midwest Health System.

The management team has over 60 years of combined healthcare experience in all aspects of the industry.  They bring valuable knowledge to the physician practices they serve.
